The Pipestem Nature Center is open 12:30-4:30 p.m. Stop in to see exhibits and learn about Pipestem. The following activities are planned:

• 5 p.m. Meet at the picnic shelter beside park headquarters to paint a wooden snake, fish or lizard and learn a thing or two about wildlife. The cost to participate in this activity will be $2.
• 6:30 p.m. Meet in front of the Campground Store for the first of a three-part series on hammock camping basics. We will go over picking the right hammock for you and the proper way to set it up for a comfortable experience.
