First Day Hike at Chief Logan
January 1, 2021 @ 10:00 am
Take your first step into the New Year with a hike at Chief Logan State Park on January 1, 2021. Departing from the park office/Museum-in-the-Park, the wintry walk begins at 10:00 a.m.
The Cliffside Trail is an easy hike but some parts of the trail may have rocks, roots, or be close to sheer drops. We’ll hike approximately 1 mile making the adventure suitable for all ages. The goal is to get outside on the first day of the year and maybe introduce someone to hiking and learn a little about nature in winter and about Chief Logan State Park.
Please, dress for weather conditions. Young children should be accompanied by an adult. All ages welcomed. No reservations required for this walk. Please, carry water and a snack. To learn more, email [email protected] Hikers get a First Day Hike patch at the conclusion of the activity.
