SUMMARY:Farm-to-Table: Cacapon Resort
DESCRIPTION:The Old Inn\, the first state park lodge\, is the venue for the 2023 Farm to Table Dinner at Cacapon Resort State Park. Constructed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)\, the great room at the Old Inn is a perfect indoor and outdoor setting for this farm to table event on September 17\, 2023. \nFeaturing locally sourced produce and products\, attendees should take advantage of the outdoor area to have conversation. The great room for seating and dining experience.The opportunities to visit the meadows and the late blooms of summer are noteworthy. \nPollinators are a focus of interpretative programs at Cacapon. Understanding how bees\, butterflies and other insects are key to a healthy environment – particularly when it comes to gardening and food production.
