Farm to Table: Beer Pairing Dinner

May introduces the first Farm to Table event at West Virginia’s state parks. A Beer Pairing dinner is Saturday May 15, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Canaan Valley Resort. It is an evening of exceptional food and unique craft beers. Reservations are required and limited.

This dinner menu is sure to satisfy the palate and paired beverages to wet your whistle:

Charcuterie presentation of local cheese, pickled vegetables, cured meats, smoked shrimp, and trout pate; paired with Boof Stroke Session IPA.

Potato & Ramp Soup paired with Company Kolsch

Tossed Greens Salad finds a mix of cucumber, beets, kohlrabi, toasted walnuts, local feta cheese, and strawberry champagne vinaigrette paired with “There’s Something Wrong with Us” New England IPA

Free Range Chicken is prepared with local ingredients including ramp pesto and paired with Delbert Czech Pilsner

Blackberry Jam Cake and other desserts are paired with “Aw Jeez Blackberry Cobbler” Tartshake IPA.

This Farm to Table dinner event is made possible by working with local brewers and farmers: High Ground Brewing (Craft Brews) in Terra Alta, WV, The Charm Farm (chicken and produce) in Beverly, WV, and Mountain View Farm (Cheeses and Butters) in Fairfield, VA.
