Ready to take a shallow plunge? Join Naturalist Lauren Cole at 11:00 a.m. at Chief Logan State Park Picnic Shelter #3 for a chance at a splashing good time! We’ll search in the creek for all things that make their home in or around the water: crawdads, salamanders, fish, voles, kingfishers and more.
We learn who lives in creeks, and why we don’t destroy the habitation and homes. Youth and adults have the opportunity to learn about the environment and conservation of water resources. This is a YPP activity and lasts about two hours. Please wear shoes that can get wet.
