Flora & Fauna Awareness at Coopers Rock
Springtime in April means flowers and wildlife are emerging from winter at Coopers Rock. Join forest intern Ben Hubbard for this hike activity beginning at noon and departing from the camp store at McCollum Campground. The hike is along the Nature Trail that is about .7 mile, mostly level.
Plan on 1¼ hours to complete that includes nature identification and some history about Coopers Rock State Forest.
This hike is open to the public. There is no fee to participate. Please wear appropriate closed toe footwear for trail hiking. Outdoor activities at Coopers Rock State Forest encourage exploration of nature and traditional activities.
