Cooking on the Mountain – Competition
Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and West Virginia University have partnered to present “Cooking on the Mountain.”
10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
The highlight of this event will feature a cooking competition with contestants tasked with using only ingredients available in a logging camp, with visitors to the park casting a ballot for their favorite dishes throughout the day. Those interested in registering for the cooking competition should contact Kristen Bailey at [email protected] for registration and a list of ingredients and tools for the competition. This competition is organized by WVU Humanities Center. The state park cannot take cooking competitor registrations.
The exhibit in the Cass Museum and related summer programs are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
