Chief Logan WonderFALL Walk

It’s WonderFALL at Chief Logan State Park.

Meet at the museum for a WonderFALL hike that starts at 11:00 a.m. Led by naturalist Lauren Cole, everyone will hike the Woodpecker Trail, which is a more difficult and longer trail of about 3 miles total. We’ll pace ourselves and make stops along the way to identify vegetation or autumn leaves. Earn a WonderFALL patch at the conclusion of the hike.

A second WonderFALL hike that is less difficult is scheduled for October 31, 2020.

There is no fee to participate. Masks are required when we get started, and, as social distancing occurs when the walk begins, hikers may determine mask use. Wearing a mask protects the people you are interacting or talking with. If you are opposed to mask wearing as requested and hand sanitizing when possible, you should not attend this activity.

Wear comfortable and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes and dress for the weather, long pants are recommended; in October we never know what weather holds, but if you show, we go! Sandals or flip-flops are not appropriate for this hike.
