Bobby Taylor – Blennerhassett Lecture Series 3

Bobby Taylor is the third of four individuals featured in the Blennerhassett Museum 2019 Winter Lecture Series, Sundays in February beginning at 2:00 p.m. A popular event, reservations are required.

Bobby Taylor was the 2010 Vandalia Award winner. Taylor is a fourth-generation fiddler from the Charleston area who learned his music from his father, fiddler Lincoln Taylor, as well as from master musicians Clark Kessinger and Mike Humphries.

Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History in Parkersburg, West Virginia, is excited to bring four top Award winners of the Vandalia Gathering Festival to tell their stories and play traditional Appalachian music. The Vandalia Gathering is a festival that takes place during Memorial Day Weekend in Charleston, WV, and brings together the finest traditional Appalachian musicians for a weekend of picking and competition.
