At 11:30 a.m., Winter Weeds along the lake stroll departing from the nature center; and 2:30 p.m. Awesome Snakes to learn more about West Virginia’s snake and to meet a live Eastern Rat Snake. Afternoon programs are held at the Nature Center.

February 10 – Wooden Craft projects galore will be at Blackwater Falls lodge. There is a craft fee for materials and the options run from $1-$12. Crafting begins at 10:00 a.m. Wall of the Wild is a 2:30 p.m. nature center program with Jenna Hughes.

The Nature Center and exhibits are open from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day. Plenty of parking and Pendleton Lake is beautiful in winter months.
