Lake Meander! A Beginners Bird Walk
Start time 9:00 a.m.
Meet the park naturalist, Paulita Cousin, at Blackwater Falls Nature Center Front Porch to enjoy an easy stroll along Pendleton Lake shore looking and listening for birds. About one Hour. ½ mile. Binoculars are helpful but not necessary.

Ask the Naturalist!
11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The park naturalist will be on the front porch of the Nature Center to answer trail questions or general park questions. Stop by to chat or learn about a neat site to visit at the park to explore on your own.

Cranberry Woods Walk
2:00 p.m.
Meet the naturalist at Gentle Trail parking area for an interpretive walk along Yellow Birch trail to a mountain bog where cranberries thrive. The activity will be about 70 minutes of time. The walk is pet friendly. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stops will be short and in locations where physical distance is possible.

Activities planned will observe social distancing. Please honor guidance provided by park naturalist based on directives established by the Governor and currently in place.
