Birds and Hot Chocolate
Meet the naturalist a stroll along Pendleton Lake in search of friends followed by a cup of hot chocolate compliments of Blackwater Falls. About one hour. ½ mile. YPP

11:30 a.m. Bird Nest Fun!
Join a naturalist, Paulita, to hear about some feathered friends’ nests, and perhaps try to weave your own nest! About 1 hour. YPP

Friday, March 11, 2022

Bust n’ Boom
You’ll hear about some of the history of the area and how Blackwater Falls became a state park. An awesome state park known for its namesake falls,but do you know about its other history? About 1 hour. YPP

3:00 p.m.
Rockin’ It on the trail of Geology
Meet the naturalist at Blackwater Lodge to ramble deeper into the rocks terrain of West Virginia and Blackwater Falls. Perhaps, even look at some fossils of Blackwater Falls State Park. There will be a little walking, about 45 minutes. YPP
