10:00 a.m. Amphibians of the woods and water
Meet park naturalists at the Sled Run fire circle to enter the woods and actively search for amphibians (and perhaps a reptile!). Learn some common identification of herps and proper handling techniques for this sensitive group of animals. Plan on about 1 hour of discovery and walking of 1/2 mile or less. Please wear sturdy shoes.

11:00 a.m. Wooden paddleboat craft
Let’s create a rubber band powered wooden paddleboat. Craft fee: $2.00

1:00 p.m. Snookball
It’s an outdoors “billiards/pool” game where you kick a large ball into a pocket on the court instead of shooting the ball into a pocket on a table. Get outside and play!
