Birds of Prey at Watoga

“Who cooks for me, who cooks for you all?” What bird says this phrase – why an owl of course! Do you know which owl? It is a Birds of Prey Education Program today at Watoga State Park that features live birds native to West Virginia, including owls, hawks and eagles.

You’ll learn about the habitat, diet and behavior of each bird presented, the most common causes of injury to each species and the laws protecting these special birds. No fee to attend. Open to the public. 7:00 p.m. at Watoga State Park Activities Building.

Presented by Three Rivers Avian Center (www.tracwv.org) of Brooks, WV. Family friendly and outdoor oriented. Join us at Watoga this summer.
