Begin to Bird at Chief Logan Lodge

April 23

Birding for Beginners starts at 10:00 a.m. at Chief Logan Lodge. Open to the public and geared for any age, meet in the main lobby of Chief Logan Lodge and join park naturalist Lauren Cole on a beginner birding experience. Learn binocular use, basic birding techniques, easy bird identification, and more, as we take a gentle hike up the hill around Chief Logan’s vacation cottages. We’ll have some binoculars to borrow if attendees forget to bring a pair.

Free to attend and open to the public. A good program for folks in garden clubs, hiking groups, master naturalists, or generally curious folks. Families looking for an outdoor activity to learn more about birds with youth are encouraged to participate.
