Bat Night Bonfire is a popular annual event at Kanawha State Forest and is scheduled for October 28, 2023. You’ll learn all kinds of interesting facts about bats and have a ton of fun too! A discussion about the importance of bats to the environment and specifics of the nine species of bats that call Kanawha State Forest home. There’ll be kid friendly activities also. Bat Night Bonfire begins at 6:00 p.m. Along with a roaring campfire there’s s’mores and hot cocoa.
Find this activity at the Nature Center. Open to the public. There is no fee to participate and attend.
