Basics of Mountain Biking Class
Mountain Biking Basics and Skills class is a 4-hour session that includes instruction on maintenance, adjusting your bikes fit, peddling cadence, how to get the most out of your gears, controlling your speed (not too fast but not too slow either), balance, the ready position, and simple obstacles. Attendees and guide will take one of the park’s trails to work on braking techniques, cornering, handling terrain, picking lines and putting it all together and making it flow like surfing through the woods. If you’d always wanted to know more about Mountain Biking, this class is for you. The class is fee based and is $35.00 per person. Preregistration is required. The course starts at 1:00 p.m. at the park’s basecamp location.
