Enjoy a relaxed Sunday at Pipestem and enjoy these planned activities:

10:00 a.m. Dogwood Hike – Meet Julie the Naturalist at the Nature Center for a walk along the Dogwood Trail. This relatively easy trail strolls through the woods and passes by an old farm pond before returning to the Nature Center. (1 hour)

11:00 a.m. Eco-Talk- Meet Dakota at the Nature Center to learn about Pipestem’s ecosystem and see some of the plants and animals that make their home here.

12:00 p.m. Law Hollow Hike- Meet Jessie in the Arboretum parking lot for a hike to the head of the Law Hollow Trail and down an old logging road to the lake. 2 ½ miles.

3:00 p.m. Hiking 101 (what to know)- Meet Jessie at McKeever Lodge on the Black Bear Lounge patio to learn the basics about hiking, including what to pack, Leave No Trace, and other useful hiking information.
