A Firefly’s Summer Farewell

Summer is waning and fireflies begin to fade. At Chief Logan that means it’s time to don glow sticks, necklaces and other glow goodies as we wave good-bye to the fireflies. The activity helps us learn about the change of season on a simple walk, near dark. A Firefly’s Summer Farewell begins at Chief Logan State Park Museum at 8 p.m. and should conclude by 10 p.m. The activity and short walk is free to attend, open to the public and a YPP activity for youth 6-16 years of age.
