An exclusive evening of culinary excellence is in store at Pipestem Resort State Park’s newest venue, Mountain Creek Appalachian Cuisine. Join us for the 2026 Farm to Table Event Series. Located deep within the Bluestone Gorge, Mountain Creek Lodge is a small 30-room lodge and restaurant that is accessible only by aerial tramway. Chef Marion Ohlinger will be heading up this gourmet journey with a plated event that includes Gin-cured gravlax trout, succotash sambal, chilled buckwheat noodles, and ramp colatura; cushaw squash stew, venison brisket, punkinseed-rutabega chow-chow, and chicory dust; stewed cranberries, pickled black walnuts, autumn greens, warm maple-morel vinaigrette; toasted alfalfa broth, quail & hen-o-the-woods ravioli, shaved radish, and collard greens; cherrywood-smoked goose breast, grapefruit molasses gastrique, and smoked winter pear; finished with wild boar belly mincemeat pie, ginseng cream, and sweet pickled juneberries. The cash bar social starts at 6 p.m., and dinner is at 7 p.m. All dinners include round-trip aerial tramway transport from the Canyon Rim Center to Mountain Creek.
