A farm fresh menu and a breathtaking view awaits you at the Overlook Restaurant at Hawks Nest State Park. Start with an appetizer of bacon jelly on cream cheese crostinis, then a simple strawberry spring salad. The main event will feature lemon herb chicken and beef brisket, with whipped feta-roasted potatoes, and seasoned baked asparagus. For dessert make sure you have room for Chef Sam’s blackberry cobbler with ice cream. A social featuring a cash bar of local craft favorites starts at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6:15 p.m. A special dine and stay package is available which includes two drinks from the bar, dinner, one night at Hawks Nest Lodge, and breakfast at the Overlook Restaurant the next morning.
