Live Music – Evening Entertainment
It’s a Thursday evening of live music with artist Dustin McCray from Ireland, WV. Grab dinner in the Smokehouse Restaurant at Blackwater Falls Lodge and then wander to the conference center for a great evening of music. Dustin’s sound is pure, combining folk, rock, country, and blues, with a balance of familiarity and uniqueness. This 7:30 p.m. program is at Blackwater Falls Lodge, open to the public and fee free.

FRIDAY, September 9, 2022
Activities
Nature based and other activities will abound throughout the day. Visit the Nature Center or
find time to go to Blackwater Falls, take some photos sitting in the big swing, and enjoy early autumn weather.

Special Workshop
Paint-It.
4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The Paint-It Workshop is a wonderful creative experience of painting on canvas as a memento of your visit. Your finished work will be a 16×20 canvas scene of Blackwater Falls in autumn. There is a $40 fee which includes instruction and all materials necessary to create your masterpiece.

A Great Evening Show
Swingin’ with Sinatra and Elvis
7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
“Swinging with Sinatra and Elvis” is absolutely a great evening of music, entertainment and sheer fun for any and all ages. Make attending this show part of your visit at Blackwater Falls. Open to the public, this program starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Center at Blackwater Falls Lodge. Plan on two solid hours of entertainment performed by Lee Dean. Open to the public and visitors at Blackwater Falls. There is no charge to attend.

SATURDAY, September 10, 2022
All aboard! A charter coach and a train and more!
All Day! A comfortable charter motorcoach to Elkins delivers you for a ride on the Tygart Flyer. The trip includes lunch on the train, beautiful scenery, a museum tour and the activity center, and upon return, a grand evening of Branson-style Gandy Dancer dinner and show. The fee is $168.18 per person for the full day. All activities, 2 meals, transportation, train ride and evening show, taxes and gratuity is included. This all day excursion on September 10, 2022 is fabulous. Your charter ride departs Blackwater Falls at 9:30 a.m. Advanced reservation is necessary for this great day. SeptemberFest in 2022 gives you options.

Lodging for three nights, September 8-10, 2022 is discounted when you call for reservations and tell the lodge front desk staff, “I want to book SeptemberFest at Blackwater Falls.”

You don’t have to be an overnight guest to attend one or all activities planned, but you will need to register in advance for two activities that are fee based: Paint-It and the Saturday Tygart Flyer train ride and the Gandy Dancer evening.

Meals for the weekend are on your own. This gives everyone flexibility to order what you like and when you’d prefer to dine. Meals at the Smokehouse at Blackwater Falls Lodge can be charged back to your room for convenience.
